Mr. Spaetzle: Frazz isn't riding his bike as much. Mrs. Plainwell: He's focusing on swimming this off-season. Mr. Spaetzle: I thought maybe he was worried about getting run into. Miss Plainwell: If he was, he wouldn't do drills during family swim.

Excellent words from Miss Plainwell.

Nab, it’s not just the bikers that ignore the third one….If your car breaks down on the highway, I don’t care if it’s twenty feet out of traffic, run away from it, at least 500 ft. Someone will slam into it, it’s given….Never stand within a hundred feet of an expressway…You’re just askin’ for it…

Of course I live close to I 94, so……70 car pile-ups are common this time of year….

Paw Paw to Benton Harbor…..Because of lake effect snow, it’s the most dangerous flat straight road in the world…Beautiful sunny day. Oops! Can’t see out of the windshield, and I’m still going 80mph. Lets just lay a semi across the road you can’t see…

Did I mention that lake effect snow is more slippery than other kinds of snow…Probably should have….It’s black ice on the wind….

Speaking of courtesy, drills during family swim period?

Doesn’t Jane Plainwell know an “if” clause takes the subjunctive? Shame!

Right. It’s easier to blow past kids and mothers than real swimmers.

C’mon guys, eight (nearly) consecutive posts sniping about each others perceptions of the other? Take a break, for pity’s sake. I can’t address Gaunt’s comments, since they don’t appear on my screen (don’t know if that’s so for anyone else) but it’s not unreasonable to assume they are equally “I know you are, but what am I?”. (Trust me on this: they are not “headed toward” it; it’s pretty much where they start.)BTW, Puma: “Google this, genius: Eh via buffone, non mi seccar. HInt: Lorenzo da Ponte.” Sounds a whole lot like “I know something you don’t know, neener neener” which is, I believe, a large part of what you say you dislike about Frazz/Mallett.
