One year I went as a magician. The adults in that neighborhood thought they were so funny.

My trick: I will make all your candy disappear! Bwah ha ha….

The trick referred to usually comes a little later…complete with eggs, toilet paper, and soap. Have fun with that tomorrow morning.

Somebody said that to me once. I was just as unprepared for it.

I wonder what the answer would be if the costume was a street walker?

Maybe it’s a Missouri thing, but tricks are expected here for your treat. The kids prepare jokes ahead of time.

Too funny……our local news station just put out an announcement that if you are new to St. Louis, your kids should be ready with a joke or trick. Apparently we take our tricks and jokes that seriously. :-)

Burning bag of dog P00P?

Neither much! I made a treat for the neighbor kids and have some candy, but I plan to shut off the lights around 8 (when I normally go to bed) and most that come here late are cars full of kids from other areas. It was fun for Cuddles (and I enjoyed that). It was better when they were creative with costumes. The first Halloween for my boys I did the older 2 as black cats and baby as clown and I was a devil Daughter was not yet born so this is 1963. This one is from 2012 in black velvet (I also wore a black lace veil as a modern witch) when Halloween used to be fun.

See if you can catch a dozen eggs at once.
