First they start off with Bach, experiment with Beethoven, eagerly and clumsily fumble with Brahms, and next thing you know it will lead to Wagner in the streets! Wagner, in public without a shred of decency.

In honor of the Master’s birthday, I offer Valentina Lisitsa performing a couple of sonatas, for your pleasure if it pleases you:Moonlight I like parts 2 and 3.Appassionata JusOfferin,

    Why, Schroeder—aimez-vous Brahms?

And boy did I just date myself. Again.

My birthday was yesterday, but I learned a couple of years back that I was born right at midnight, and Mom was given a choice of days. Hmmm. Beethoven, or Nero? Beethoven, or Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five?

Considering how she probably felt after all those hours of labor, I’m not really going to throw that stone.

OR kicked out of first grade (rather than being taught, as teachers should do).

I think Schroeder’s in love with Beethoven.

I’m surprised Schroeder didn’t object to that. It must be true, strangely.

    Schroder looks traumatized.

    Not surprising really.
