Laura; If you need to get work done, just don't turn on your browser. Adam: Oh. If only it were that easy, Laura. It's a real problem. I just wish I could get this monkey off my back. Laura: Well, we could... Adam: No, seriously. I sat back on one of Nick's velcro monkey toys.

I retired from a National Lab ≈ 10 years ago. We all had internet access unless we were actually working on classified data. The Net access was handy to locate material [electronic parts…], search for other project related material and discuss work related items with other sites. It always comes down to self discipline.

I’ve worked several places that had restricted Internet access. If what you wanted didn’t have to do with work, you couldn’t get to it.

It must be hard to sit back and relax with that velcro toy on your back!
I had internet access where I retired from. I did jump on line once in a while. But…………I was blessed with too much work to do, and no time to “play”.

You could always write in a notebook and then type it on the computer.

I don’t know about you guys, but I have no trouble reaching any part of my back. Maybe it’s a middle-age thing.
