Actually, he told them on his walkie-talkie that he just read in the classified section of the Jungle Times that someone named Delilah is selling a slightly used anti-aircraft gun and that maybe it would come in handy.
The F did have a nose tip. This photo is of the trainer version, but you can find other photos of the fighter version also with the tip.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NAA_TF-86_transonic_trainer.jpgI think the three machine gun slots are a sure sign that it is an -86, though. Maybe the artist was a bit lazy.
An interesting match if they should dogfight. Due to its slower speed, a Corsair could probably out turn the Sabre in a fight & might have an advantage there. Higher speed capability is not always an advantage. For a prop plane, the Corsair did have a fairly good top speed though.
That Sabre jet will have no trouble downing the WW2 Corsair for whatever reason. I have a hat I wear in Africa like the “mysterious” man’s……just like B’wana Quartermain’s! :)> DogFightAGowa!!

F-86, I guess. But they had a little bit of a nose above the intake.

What now? Two competing groups intent on real dogfighting, the guys with the jet have a big advantage but which side does Tarzan help?

I’m curious as to how they’re going to get it into the air. Dirt runway? Ain’t that Sabre gonna swallow some fatal fod?
