I bet even Philip Banks “didn’t remember” the discussion with Vivian that her nephew William from Philadelphia was coming to stay with them in Bel-Air.

If I remember correctly, she did discuss it with her nephew.

Tony, where’s the question? Some of the answers are almost as good as the strip.

I personally am a great believer in the ole saying “guest and fish start to smell after 3 days”……I have company coming for Thanksgiving and they will be here 2 weeks, UGH! Love them and love seeing them but 2 weeks is a long time.

The only houseguests I’ve had recently are my children with families. My sons (at any age) are fun for visits and I did 2 days of fishing during youngest son’s last visit. All the boys pitch in and make themselves useful. Daughter, however, is something else. She mostly comes here to sunbathe (regardless of season); I’m not sure whether she still has that tanning bed at home, but definitely a lazy sun-worshipper. I’m always glad to see her leave and she never even tries to do anything useful (talk about it “I COULD do. . .”) and leaves me a lot of dirty wash. Even back when I used my dryer it was a lot of extra work.

My friend came up from San Diego to remodel our bathroom. He was here for three months. Normally that would drive me crazy, but he is a really easy person to have around.

Don’t you remember what happened the last time you tried to add a character to the strip? The great Talking Pelican Wars of 2011!
