And here’s a message from our friend Dry…. for those who have been asking or just wondering about all the “Free Dry!” posts and name changes:
"I responded to a very nasty and over-the-line comment with some mild, yet salty, words to which GoComics objected.
I have apologized on the telephone and by letter. In my defense, I honestly thought that their rules had relaxed, as evidenced by some comments that are much worse than mine.
This is my first “infraction” since becoming a member in 2008, and it would have been nice to get a warning first, but, unfortunately, that’s not how GoComics deals with these issues.
I’m hoping that I will be reinstated sometime soon.
Thank you all for the tremendous support that you’ve shown for me. I appreciate it more than you know."
I will never understand how this so-called comic was ever allowed on any comics page, much less how it has stayed! This thing is a joke! Never funny, nearly always just plain stupid!
Ahh, the ubiquitous “to do” list. So entertaining. e.g.: “Open bathroom window”……I hope they time that one well, if you get the “drift”……..Snark! SNARK!!
Crustwood and Ballard Street are 2 places where everyone can relate and recognize some of the residents. I’ve especially liked DS because of all the little related tags Julie uses on the list, mugs, antimacassars, video tapes, tees etc.
