REX MORGAN: Sarah displays maturity and unselfishness far above her age.
APT3G: Martie will be disappointed that Tori has gone with her boyfriend and Marty’s money. She should check on her father.
MARY WORTH: Will this self-congratulations go on forever? maybe someone at the reception will disrupt the proceedings. will the cake at the reception be created by John who won the cake-making contest?
Rex Morgan – @Arye, not just ‘above her age,’ but too much for the reader to believe.Judge Parker – In panel 1, April is holding the knife in her left hand. In panel three, she appears to be holding it in her right hand.
Phantom – Seems like a dumb plan – checking to make sure all target are there, leaving one person to guard the child – but it works in Phantom’s favor.Rex Morgan – Even a normal, mature adult would express some sorrow about an important person in their life leaving.Judge Parker – Seems a repeat of yesterday. Whatever happens next, April will end up looking bad.A3G – Is she finally knocking on the bedroom door? This strip has also been repeating the same thoughts instead of getting on with it.Mary Worth – So often misses possibilities to be interesting. I was hoping for flashback to Mary’s childhood and youth.Crankshaft – Is Starbuck Jones an old comic? Maybe Teh can help.
As we wait for some of our strips to pick up the pace,I have been remembering some of my favorite stories (time-frames are approximate):
FUNKY W: Les and Summer’s trip to Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. July 2012JUDGE PARKER: Sam and Avery’s fishing trip to Bea’s lodge (Avery never left). Fall 2012PHANTOM: The year-long Lucha Libre story (Mexico & China). August 2011- August 2012REX MORGAN: Rex and June trip to visit Junior’s apartment building on the beach in San Diego. Fall 2012ALLEY OOP: The recent Villa Diodati/Mary Shelley time-travel story (1816). Fall 2013
Arye, do you know why you had no internet service? the radio station that i listen to in Rockland NY has been having issues streaming online. I talked to my friends there and they said there weren’t storms.
@teh: I had no internet or telephone because the cable wire in my apartment frayed. had it been an outside problem I would not have been charged $90 by Verizon. Anyway, I feel the $7.99 p month charge for wire maintenance insurance would come to more if I only have this problemsay, every 2 years.
Funky We seem to be getting ready for a spinoff: http://clevelanddotcom.info/This is an interview with Tom Batiuk regarding “Starbuck Jones” among other things.Rex I wonder why, if Heather spent so much time finding the “right” buyer for her school, Sarah doesn’t just stay there.
