Nonsense. Birth control is not only a valid form of keeping he birth rate rational, but in a world with dwindling resources, it’s highly responsible. Yes, more affluent countries, especially the USA, use too many resources and must cut down. However, at more than 7 billion people, we are stretching other resources like water beyond the world’s capacity. Why would you want to add to that? Not to mention that billions live in poverty and misery – why would you want to add more poverty and misery. Having more and more kids does not translate to more prosperity as it did in olden days. It just translates to more poverty.
“Poison” sounds like a way for a certain church to maintain control of women by letting them use the “foolproof” rhythm method. In fact most third-world women clutch at any method to plan their families when their husbands have no interest whatsoever in participating. To the women, it’s the only way out of poverty.
