Non--stop Christmas shows! It's been going on for weeks! Talk about monotony! Don't they know that people get sick of the same thing over and over again? So all turn off the TV and listen to the radio. Play non-stop Christmas songs.
Think you’ll hear any non-Christmas winter songs AFTER Christmas? Not likely..Winter WonderlandSleigh RideFrosty the Snowman.Jingle Bells. (Go ahead. Tell me where it mentions Christmas. It was actually written to be sung at Thanksgiving.)
One radio station where I am at has been playing Christmas songs since November 1st. And it’s the same classics songs sung different ways. Nothing new.
When I was a kid and heard “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas”, I thought it was sweetest song because I’ve always loved animals. When I found out hippopotamuses were the most dangerous animals around I wondered why any one would write such a song.

While Jingle Bells and Drummer Boy Boy start to get on my nerves, it feels like such a vacuum after Christmas.
