I have two or three does that live in the woods back of the house. On Summer evenings they stand at the tree line a hundred feet out my back door, just watching the house. With snow on the ground, they come up to the house to get at the wild grapes. I’ll trip over them on the way out to the car in the morning
Nabuquduriuzhur: We are .9 mile from downtown and have raccoons and possums along with the standard squirrels and semi-feral cats. Plus 25 species of birds I have seen while standing in my yard.
Gotta love a nature walk, especially when you can feed the duckies, which I did with my sisters yesterday; one duck actually swiped a piece of bread from my hand!

Hmm, it’s currently the proper time of the year, so we see breakfast, dinner and supper.
