No turkey for you!

Dad, you should know better by now.

Don’t mess with a turkey that can lock the butcher in his freezer.

I’ve wondering, how did the turkey become the popular Thanksgiving fowl for TG dinner? The pilgrims and Indians ate other things too besides the other stuff (stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.), you know.

It’s a hard life for Dad, with his beloved dead and having to put up with Lio every day. I hope Dad likes mac and cheese….

Well, there’s always land squid for dinner…..

Lio treats the turkey better than he does his dad.

Lio hangs out with all sorts of bloodthirsty monsters but he draws the line at eating turkey

My parents had friends who owned a farm. One year, my siblings and I met the turkey before we realized that it was the turkey destined for our oven. My sisters refused to eat it.

Oooooo, yeah!!

Oh boy.

Agreed Lio.

Dad, take you and Lio to a buffet—-you eat what you want, he eats what he wants, everyone’s happy.

The wild turkey is a large bird, capable of feeding a large family, while it might take several ducks or geese to feed the same amount of people. And turkeys will walk right into your yard to strip the seeds off plants so you didn’t have to wade through swamps and marshes to get one.

Lio’s dad is such a good person.

Maybe a compromise. Tofurkey?

Rugrats, anyone?
