Does the term Wishful Thinking mean anything to you ? It does to me, when I’ve uttered those unheeded words to parents who think their kid is going to be the next Pele or Peter O’Toole.Yes, I’m dating myself, but you get the picture.
Maybe in the NFL or some FBS schools. I’ve been going to high school games for years and never paid more than $5 to get in, plus the parking’s free. It’s still football and since these are small Class 2B schools (under 150 students each), the players are mostly out there playing for the love of the competition of games played in front of family, friends and neighbors…it’s not for the money. How do you beat that for $25 season tickets?
