Every year my birthday cake was an angel food cake with pink frosting.
My brother loved cake (Angel food too). But he didn’t like icing. So we had to cut the icing off of any piece of cake we served him. Go figure.
Cake exists only as a holder for icing. I would specify “chocolate”, but I already said “icing” so, y’know, redundant.
Would you like some Hershey kisses on that icing, Agnes?
I’m with Agnes – especially if it is butter cream frosting and not that whipped marshmallowy stuff.
