Excuse me, but MEDIA is a plural word. It should read MEDIA ARE not IS.One more example of how the media are ruining the English language.

Hmmm. Still think this theme is going nowhere, and WAY too boring. Darby, bring back Mac, and Chubby Hugs, and the ferrets. We haven’t seen Mac for ages – when you get a great character, you should introduce him/her once in a while. Speaking of that, what about introducing a FEMALE character? Well maybe Chubby is female, or even the ferret, but they don’t come across as such. A “girlie” character might make a nice change. I certainly don’t mean to criticize – have been reading Bucky since you started – and I now live in Australia, so a faithful fan. Just suggestions, that’s all.

Why don’t you introduce a girlie cat that Bucky can get a crush on? That would be interesting, and would take his obsession away from himself and on to some(one) else, Maybe a new person moves in down the hall? Could also interact nicely with the ferrets. Just saying…

Where do I sign up for this? I’m with Bucky all the way on this one.

What a great idea. A kind of off-line Facebook. You post all the stuff you do on Facebook, but it never leaves your home. I can randomly generate friend requests for you to refuse.

For the sake of clarity and understanding, we sometimes must deviate from the correct form to favour the popular usage. This is not mongrelism. I bemoan the loss of words like ‘strove’ and falter when I encounter ‘striven.’ We now return you to your regular funny commentary on “Get Fuzzy.”

@ K MYou got a couple of elements of military rank abbreviations correct (all caps, no period), but the proper abbreviation for O-4 paygrade in a seafaring uniformed service is LCDR. LCDR Data was promoted to CDR at some point.
