Christmas Eve, I'm going to take the garden hose and spray the roof so that Santa will slip and fall. Then while he's unconscious on the ground, I'll help myself to his giant sack of presents! Do I strike you as the sort of kid could earn her presents by being nice for a full entire year???

You know, I never have figured out why that was supposed to be an insult. “your mother wears combat boots”. My mother wore them with pride and so did my Grandmother.
