Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like a tinkled-down aluminum tree!

Less trees cut down, more trees to tinkle on.

And this is set YEARS before REAGANOMICS!

I think Rover is thinking of no tree water to drink out of the tree stand

In the 60’s we had one of those cool aluminum trees. Right in the middle of the end flare of each branch was a great place for a round ornament.

We got no choice. My mom and brother both allergic to pine. Artificial trees are fine.

I’m a fan of artificial trees — I bought the first in 1970 and retired the second last year. They were as much a Christmas tradition as the 60 years of ornaments I hung on them.

And apspots — no, tinkle is tinkle.
