Red: Doug on the bus said his folks are getting an artificial tree for Christmas this year. A fake tree it's made, not grown, never needs watering. Rover: No watering?!? This could have a serious tinkle down effect on dogs everywhere.
I’m a fan of artificial trees — I bought the first in 1970 and retired the second last year. They were as much a Christmas tradition as the 60 years of ornaments I hung on them.

Less trees cut down, more trees to tinkle on.

In the 60’s we had one of those cool aluminum trees. Right in the middle of the end flare of each branch was a great place for a round ornament.

We got no choice. My mom and brother both allergic to pine. Artificial trees are fine.
