Holly supposedly had a broken arm, when the injury first happened. She must have thought it was, and so did Wally, but to me it’s looking a lot more like it was a dislocated elbow. That’s why she can manage with just a sling and not a splint or cast.
I’m reminded of a picture by Mary Engelbreight that shows a profile of a girl with a rose in her hand and the caption being “I’m okay. Really, I’m okay.” I always imagined a bloody hachet in her hidden hand.
Nope, REALLY not okay. Race you!?! To where, there’s only miles of flat, open, and powdered terrain. This isn’t going to be good. There’s going to be headlights coming in the near future, I just know it.

Since Wally says Holly’s been “silent for miles,” it can only mean one thing: Wally’s an American, ’cause everybody else uses kilometers.#Well, “former” American…
PS: I was trying to defer to the trained, practicing professional. Hopefully I don’t sound like I am challenging a professional Dr., I am simply a power user of orthopedic services.
Running is dangerous. Can come across a monster that is hungry… Sorry Holly. Wally couldn’t get there fast enough.Even if they are covered by dittos they would awaken something just by smell?
Been gone a few days.Ice removal escort here in the Fort Worth area since 5am Sunday. Following large sand trucks and motor graders as the try to get all this ice off the roads. Some places got 6 to 8 inches solid ice. I saw motor graders hit this stuff and bounce back about 4 feet.Fun part was blocking roads for the ice removal crews to get to work. We had as many as 7 motor graders on the road pushing this stuff off or bouncing off then running back at it.Much more fun was blocking the road to one of the biggest airports in the US and telling folks they had to wait to get in. This may have strained relations between DFW airport and TXDOT.On the story…..I would be worried about Holly. I suspect her mind is not fully back to being its self yet. See it happen before after traumatic events. Takes time. They have all the time in the world but so little of it to use.And running…..did you see the dust cloud she stirred up. Remember Dune. The dust clouds of the spice miners could be seen for hundreds of miles.Well back tomorrow. Got to get some sleep.Normal duties resume.Glad to see Aaron is back on his story telling. Missed that.

The 396 definitions of “I’m fine” have yet to be documented by the male of our species.

The Holly in the first panel is obviously someone carrying a weight on their shoulders much to heavy to bear.
As for the wisdom of running: it’s going to raise a dust trail making them both easily noticed and easy to find.
