One of the delightful by-product of parenting is that you get to do all the wonderful things of kidhood all over again. My younger brother and my son both have babies. I envy them the adventures they’re about to have!
Yes, My grandchildren are starting to graduate from college, but I’ll always be that neighborhood grandma whose yard the kids are playing in (and the moms seem to appreciate a free moment now and then, knowing that I’ll be watching). Keeps me young among other things.
