Gweedo (Free Range Dry) Murray said, about 23 hours agoI have most of the Floyd records and now, CDs. -Best time to connect with them is when they’re babies. I saw ‘bunny’ yesterday after coming back from a walk. I ran into Judy who was out walking her Goldens (3). She has some kind of cold going on, since Sunday. Thinks she picked it up at school where she has started doing storytelling to the grade schoolers. She used to teach there before retiring. Judy has, and might still, be a voice teacher in her spare time. She has a really good whistle for calling the dogs. I could never whistle worth beans. -Not a heavy online shopper. The ‘zon has been around for a long time and enjoys a good reputation. The fact that I could actually talk to a real person scores big with me. -Careful ! Being a ’softie’ makes you vulnerable for hugging. Glad your mom causes you good memories. - Good luck with the coughing !-May tomorrow be a ‘Good Friday’._________________________________________________Sorry to hear about Judy’s cold. Hope she feels better when she reads the next story to the kids. I’ve never been able to whistle in all the 18 years I’ve been alive. I always feel the odd one out because it seems everyone around me is able to whistle and do other things that I can’t do.-Personally, I have nothing against online shopping sites. I think they’re very useful, easy and time saving.-I love stroking horses on their nose and also their mane. -I can’t help being soft. I am a girl after all. When I saw the baby horse for the first time (it had just been brought to the stables) I got a bit emotional because it looked so sweet and because I’m an idiot. LOL.-My Friday is excellent. May your Friday be excellent too.
Re socialised medicine…. I’d rather be surrounded by healthy people than sick ones..Similarly with education. I have no kids but I am happy to pay towards educating other peoples brats so that I might be able to have a decent conversation, now and again.
The colostomy bag site. I see Cliff Richard’s name on the page, but no evidence that he has one. Still, if it’s on the internet, it must be true…….. musn’t it?
When I worked at the BBC…… popular gossip said that he was involved with his Portuguese houseboy..I am not saying that this is true, just what was being passed around.

Andy says he doesn’t drink anymore – of course he doesn’t drink any less, either.

I’ve heard this joke before, but it involved another activity than drinking.

To those who love an alcoholic, this cartoon is not humorous. The “siren song” of alcohol is irresistible to those who are vulnerable.

When I went for my checkup last month, My nurse asked me if I smoke. I said no in a firm but friendly way.
However, If she had asked me if I drink alcohol… I would say no VERY firmly.

Colostomy bags …. my late “mother in law” had one, not because she was a drinker, but because she was, well, just elderly.

Re Glasgow, yesterday: If you ever get there, I will gladly explore it with you…. along with my other half, of course. A gentleman must be chaperoned.

Andy has no problem drinking; Flo is glad for a few hours on her own; women outlive men, generally…… so much for Andy’s private pension!
