Hope they can find the trailer easily enough. For many years, we lived in small towns in which our address was a Post Office box. That all changed with 911. Now every road, no matter how small, has to have a name. I’ve got family members living on Peacock Corners Road. Peacocks, of course, are common in rural Pennsylvania.

I dunno. My mother wasn;t the least bit affectionate. She was sarcastic and even cold. But we still had our own type of affection for each other.

Actions mean a lot more than words! Some families just aren’t kissy, huggy people. Poor Anes looks kind of small and alone in that last panel, doesn’t she/

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Agnes scared. Flustered maybe, but not scared.

We are not sick….merely broken. Hope grandma gets better. … And since they live in tbe USA instead of Canada…she has some kind of medical coverage. I hear the States are pricey.
