My husband has that look on his face if he finds me reading in the living room in the middle of the night. To him, night time is for bed or quick trips to the bathroom. However, after years of tossing and turning, I know that it’s best for me to break my thought pattern by reading something light, then going back to sleep.
She woke up; he wasn’t there; worried about him. Arms crossed could mean she’s cold and eyes closed show she’s sleepy. Don’t judge so quickly. Wait and see.
I have embroidered a number of surprises for husband (yes, he LIKES getting embroidered items) and entries for exhibitions that I did not want his input on, in the hour and half while he is upstairs at the computer and in the bathroom when he is sleeping.

What’s her problem? He is her husband, not her kid!
