Elly: What's having a baby like? Well, everyone's experience is different, Tracey - and the first time is always such a big adventure!! Tracey: But people tell you such horror stories! Elly: Don't listen! You'll be fine. You're strong and healthy, you have a loyal partner... Tracey: I know. I guess what I'm afraid of - is the pain...it is painful, isn't it? Elly: Uh huh - but it becomes unimportant when the time comes. Tracey: Why? Elly: You don't think about pain when you're producing a miracle!

Panel 2 reminds me of when Elly was pregnant with April, and other mothers told her horror stories. Baseless, especially considering that April was born at home during an ice storm, delivered by neighbors, and everything was fine. With reason Elly tells her not to listen.
