John: Girls, this is Michael's graduation day, and I don't want anything to spoil it! (out of frame): So the LAST thing we need is petty squabbling, OK? Elizabeth: Sure. April: OK. ...That means we can fight on the way home!

This strip is so inconsistent. Before Grandpa came to live with them, Liz supposedly had a bedroom with its own bathroom. When Grandpa was there, he used that bedroom (despite the fact that Mike’s room had been turned into a guest room). Now that Grandpa has gone back to his old home, why hasn’t Liz moved back to her room, or why aren’t they using that bathroom as well?

The bathroom in Liz’s room is just a toilet and sink. There is only the one shower/tub and they have to share it.
