Perfect children are never perfect with parents.

My mom taught me early in my parenthood that all children have the right to be unhappy and that it is unrealistic to expect them to be happy all the time. She said just be happy if their happy most of the time.
She also felt it was good parenting to tell them to go be unhappy in their bedrooms.

Always nice to be to focus on personal issues while ignoring all the Liberal catastrophes.

Our daughter acts out with us, not with others, and we prefer it that way. One time on a family trip, she got into a mood. I later told my sisters that meant they were now part of the inner circle.

My 5 “Perfect” children were lively little brats at home. Fightand argue and I told them to cut to a whisper and they did. They are all almost 60 years old. Loving and caring for each other and still argue but very protective of each other!

If they scream almost-in-tune she can test the phenomenon called “beats”
p.s. this is the amplitude modulation that occurs when listening to two very close frequencies . . . no cruelty to children is involved, but the listener definitely experiences pain . . .

The trolls are never happy. That’s why they’re trolls, and easily ignored. The next political strip, they’ll whine, “I thought this was supposed to be a funny strip, why is he doing politics?”.In fact, that’s all the cons have is complaints about every last thing they can think of.
