Granny has a sister. She visited the sister a long while ago (maybe 10 years ago?), but I’m not sure if she’s still alive.

HOOORAY!!___________________________________About three years ago, there was an arc in which Granny and Agnes were to visit said sister (in Pomeroy, I believe). Snow came while they were driving and then Granny’s truck broke down. So they were stranded in a small-town motel while the truck was repaired. The motel keeper gave them a bucket of fried chicken (from a two for one coupon) and Christmas was happily celebrated there. A great arc.

Can’t…see computer…screen…eyes tearing…sniff….up.Merry Christmas Agnes. And a Merry Christmas to all…now pass the kleenex!

Coming from you, I assume you mean that as compliment, so thank you for the thought, but you’re Number One and we all love you just the way you are.

However one might describe the trailer, I don’t think that un-cheerful would be part of it. Agnes knows what she has and is thankful for it. I’ve known more than a few people who were not so lucky.

But, David said all will be well with the world when you can gripe about Gran again. I think that was well meant; you know, like you can’t have Fridays without Mondays so you’d miss Mondays if they weren’t there.
