wish I had Phoebe’s parents

A word on yesterday’s comic (which I didn’t see until just now, being at the midnight showing of Desolation of Smaug when it came out): I noticed that there’s a place to click labeled “Flag” at the bottom of each post. Seems to me there should be one labeled “Unicorn” down there, too.

Although some parents don’t show it to often, most kids rule their parents right from birth. Now go clean your room.

Her parents are always incredible! They video games too! But one question is still bothering me. What are the family’s last names?

Given the portrayal of Phoebe’s parents, I think they had their go at ruling, or at least changing, the world as we in the ‘60s did and gave it up as a bad job. Retired to changing what they could and mitigating what they couldn’t.

“Howell,” eh? I would have guessed “Llewellyn.”

If I ruled the world, MY Mom and Dad would STILL be disappointed in me.
