I know that Elly is in Canada, but it’s good that she wasn’t dealing with a polar vortex, as we were earlier this week. It’s 28 here now – feels downright balmy!

Gokie5: The polar vortex covers almost all of Canada east of the Rockies. Today’s prediction is: Vancouver 39 and 28, while Winnipeg on the other side of the mountains is -10 and -35, both translated into °F.

Ahhh…why I prefer cats!!……..although I did have a cat that “housebroke” herself…when we were up…she’d go to the door….after that, the litter box…

Thank goodness my dog isn’t a runner, but if she were, I wouldn’t care how cold and blustery it was . . . I’d be out there searching the neighborhood for my lost baby until I found her!!!!! :-(
