She’s part of the Polka Dot Patrol….helping defend her block of Ballard Street from the wild creatures that were roaming yesterday’s block.

If she catches anything, Alex will go home…. he knows it would go straight in the crockpot, with a few of the herbs she hunted down yesterday.

He prefers supermarket meat to wild-caught carnivorous beef.

That reminds me… anybody up for a late-night Yak-‘n-Dak platter?I promise, it’s fresh young Turdmunkestani yak ribs, not from some beast so ancient Alice was able to run it down.

Talk about “Yipes” …. not only does the magnifier appear to be placed in an unfortunate anatomical location, one of the round polka dots is precisely centered.

Ah, but Dogsniff… on Ballard Street ladies, polka dots ARE camouflage…

Here I thought Alice was hunting down the latest prey for gossip. She has a nose for news and can pick up the scent of scandal a thousand yards away. She believes in eyewitness accounts, and more than once has been warned by our good Deputy BatPug about snooping in other peoples trash and peering through windows.I have heard that the NSA would like to recruit her.

Alice is in pursuit of the rare TwoAxeHandleAcross Dotted Broadbottom, a savage beast that fills the hearts of men with fear and dread.

LOL! Bev, I grew up getting just about all my clothes and shoes from a thrift shop where my grandmother volunteered. It’s no wonder that I bought myself rather OTT extravagant shoes when I had my first job, and learned to sew so that I could make dresses in the latest fashions that I saw with Elsa Klensch on TV news segments back in my day (from WWD).

I don’t seem to have a magnifier problem.

The magnifier is unnecessary. The icon below the strip worked fine I thought.

Alice’s backside doesn’t need a magnifier at any rate. Just saying.

Does anyone know if Larry might have had anything to do with all the sudden wildlife sightings on Ballard Street yesterday? It used to be kind of an obsession with him.

    Yooo hooo…… anybody still up?

    Sigh…..

Fenton…. I think I’ll make myself some hot chocolate with brandy and whipped cream…it’s been that kind of day.

    Nah, that’s OK… I’ll do it…. in fact….can I make you one, too?

I think I’ll warm up a yak rib, too.If you’d like one I’ll …pardon? Oh, sure…. in fact, there are several bones for you already in the fridge.

I just had some hot chocolate (made with almond milk), toast and a fresh Bartlett. Going to take breakfast bars and clam chowder over to the Kingdom Fighter practice, where I plan to spend the day.

    Hi TWINKLY!

It is snowing here. I could do with some of Barry’s tea and a Snickerdoodle or Irish snack. Maybe even barbecued yak ribs. I am quite peckish.

That’s just SCARY cold! You’re wise to stay in! I’m planning to fix a Breakfast Supper tomorrow evening-scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, hash browns and lots of hazelnut coffee…my Mom and I love to have those when the weather’s like this.
