It reminds me of when I was a kid. I had a Godzilla model with glow-in-the-dark head and hands. It sat on my dresser and at night I would look over and see that glowing head. That would creep me out.
We have no kids, but I have good-sized doll collection from when I was a kid. A musician friend and his lady stayed with us one night, and while she slept soundly, he was completely freaked out by the dolls/critters in the back bedroom. He just couldn’t sleep well with all those eyes on him!

It must be hard living in a world where everybody and everything has glow-in-the-dark eyes.
