Oh no, no, no, I’m a rocket manRocket man, burning out his fuse up here alone
Its a wonder Spiff did not take over.
I saw old film of a similar attempt done with a bicycle on the NASA Channel…Same result.
Probably the afterburners of the thrusters didn’t had any deflectors to deflect and keep the flames from burning the pilot.
Six going on sixty.
This is why he wanted Dad to put in a ski lift a day or two ago. It’s no fun shlepping back UP the hill!
Fine rocket drive!!
Wouldn’t that melt all the snow?
I feel your pain, Calvin. Going down the hill is awesome, but I wish you didn’t have to walk up. Also why he asked for a ski lift. Sigh
Reality versus imagination
It has got Wile E. Coyote written all over it…
Yeah, I hear ya…
You got that right! It hit me bad about 2 weeks after I turned 60… Everything that could possibly fall, did.
Everything has an up side.
Sorry Calvin, you’ll have to walk up………………until your dad builds a ski lift!
He had better luck than the Chinese dude who strapped a load of rockets to the back of a chair. He blowed up real good!
Between Ralphie and Calvin, oh the fervid imaginations of youth.
That’s me in the last panel when I have an awesome dream but then wake up to boring reality.
xxx
you go hobbo
…c’mon, the thrill of going downhill is that much more because of the work you have to put in going back up; if it was easy, you’d get bored a lot faster…
I always thought that helmet was cool.
…almost not even worth it…
There is a JATO Darwin award—sadly, it has been shown to be an urban myth.
