My grandfather had a dog who became jealous when someone gave him another. He moped around the house for a few days, then started playing with the new dog.Grandpa thought he had accepted the newbie although he noticed the dog kept playing closer and closer to the country road some 600’ away.One day, Grandpa heard tires squeal and a THUMP as Number 2 went to Doggie Heaven. Number 1 went back to the house, happier than he had been since 2 appeared.-You might also contemplate Judas Goats, goats who lead other goats down the chute in a slaughter house to their deaths, confident THEY will be allowed safe passage so they can lead the next batch to their dooms.(they won’t go down the chute unless there are goats behind them and none in front, though)
