I agree that the artist used too many lines on the hand (look older than mine) and no eyelid, not a single definition in the teeth (uneven amount of shading) but that is a pitfall of drawing with pen alone. When I did work for duplication, I found it easiest to draw main lines with pen but do shading with soft pencil and my fingers.

As to the men (with the former story or without) if they act like a jerk, just dump them. They’ll continue that way or get worse. There are plenty of good men out there.
