    Let’s market them exclusively to people who drive Hummers. All those ugly rolling boxes will disappear and, thanks to the laws of supply and demand, gasoline will be 5 cents a gallon!

    Per the World Almanac, the electric starter was invented in 1911, but apparently was a long time becoming ubiquitous.
