Following the trajectories of the bat and Jeff’s feet in panel 4, if the ball had missed him, the bat would have sent Jeff far enough for that double.
What happened to Jeff’s cap? How far did it go?
Is it just me (again) or does the phrasing seem a bit “off”, as though it’s a reverse translation back into english?
