i’m not elderly but we never had a tv in our house until i was 7 years old (1954)
1950 for me! gee it was a gr8 thing! kept my little brother occupied while I played ball.
Did they have TV twenty years ago?
I think it’s just a fad.
They’ve also probably drank more beer too!
