I live 3 blocks from a fire station. Every time they go on a run ALL the neighborhood dogs howl. I find this amusing, my wife on the other hand… not so much.
My Freddog and my sister’s Murphydog howl and talk to each other on speakerphone. And the more we laugh, the more they howl. Oh, the advantages of being old and not worrying about what the neighbors think!
I had 2 rat terriers who both howled at sirens. They had the habit of “arfing!” at each other when the sirens were past, like signing off. Now one has died, and I have to take her place. It’s fun!
I planted 6 Snowberry, 2 Serviceberry, 1 Mock Orange and 3 mystery plants that the tag had partially worn off from. They are Shiny Leaf S(blank). All are native plants and all were planted on a very steep bank, with me using a ladder for support. And I have put off this job because my back and neck have been giving me misery for several weeks now.
