    I’ll say. Our school once had a track meet, and the winners got trophies.And that is ALL they got. Boy was I ever glad to NOT participate.

    This was one of my pet peeves when my girls were in school…I just didn’t see how it boosted anyone’s self esteem to get a certificate for good line stander when EVERYONE was given it no matter how well they did it.
