Interesting that Thompson re-used the “P. J. Piehole’s” name from his ‘Cul de Sac’ strip. It featured in a story line a few weeks ago.

Here in Utah a mix of ketchup and mayo is called “fry sauce”. Add a few drops of dill pickle juice to the mix. Also goes well on tater tots.

I think the almanac preceded Cul de Sac . But I may be wrong.
