Phantom: Phantom cannot justify taking it from criminals. If they found it, (it doesn’t say how long it was lost), it is theirs, and if he took it from them, he stole it. He made no attempt to return it to the rightful owners. Sorry, I can’t agree on this one.

That stuff all belongs in a museum, not hoarded for one man’s enjoyment. I have been enjoying the “tour”, though. Woodworker, King John lived from 12/24/1166 to 10/18/1216 AD. The Magna Carta was signed in June of 1215. The legend of John’s treasure says it was lost the following year in 1216, so if the criminals “found” it in 1729 it would have been lost for almost 500 years. By the way, theories of what was actually lost vary from the crown jewels to his household effects. No one can seem to agree on this point.

I agree with both of you about where the treasure should be. What I am saying is, with him, it’s a case of don’t do what I do, do what I say. What he did was just as immoral regardless of whether he spent it or not. He took it for his own use. I remember one arc when he bought an airplane and paid for it with a handful of gold jewelry. I think that was the episode of the abandoned oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico.
