Frazz by Jef Mallett for April 06, 2014
Transcript:
Caulfield: Good luck in San Francisco, Frazz. Frazz: I cannot wait to do this swim again. Caulfield: Can I be a little proud of you? I mean, you're not...um... Frazz: Go ahead. Caulfield: ...Exactly gifted. Frazz: That'll do. I'm certainly no natural. But I've been practicing my whole adult life; I've had the most amazing coaches; and I will never, ever, ever give up. Mr. Burke: So what stroke does one use to swim from Alcatraz? Caulfield: Apparently the dogged paddle.

Escape from Alcatraz, classic triathlon. Difficult swim in rough and cold water. Hilly bike ride (duh, San Fran) and during the run the dreaded sand stairs. It’s on TV sometimes, check it out.

I wonder how far he’ll get before someone has to pull him out of the freezing water and thaw him out?
