I forget. How long is this business trip?

Kids that small tend to miss their Mommies a Lot; especially since they can’t process anything more than a day and a sleep. You just get so attached to them…it does make you feel guilty in a way… ;)

I’m sorry this disappointed you, but I did not want to spoil it for anybody else since I already read the outcome on the website

Of course she worries about her kids when she’s away (even for a short time). It’s a mother’s duty.;-D

How, you said two things —1) about the waitress: I don’t think we saw the outcome of the tipping because it just wasn’t funny. The joke was in even considering leaving her a tip. (Although we may see her again, and find out why she was so distracted.)2) Claire and Ellie: Claire may have kids herself, and know the feelings of guilt at being separated. And her suggestion to Ellie of taking two weeks was probably a joke, and not a suggestion for the two of them.You take this strip waaay too seriously.

About Ellie’s guilt -Any mother leaving her kids feels guilty. And maybe she’s of Irish-Catholic stock like me, and was raised to feel guilty about everything.

I never felt guilty when I left my son; anxious, when he was younger and just plain missing him afterwards (still do and he’s 36). I don’t get the things people feel guilty about these days; things they could not possibly bear responsibility for. I think people don’t know anymore what they do and don’t have responsibility for. If Elly is guilty because she needed a break from household routine, she should have found a way to get one instead of running herself into a martyr. I know, I know….easier said than done. Just don’t be a victim to your own life.

Don’t worry. Days are coming they won’t even remember to call you up on Festivus for the Rest of us day.

2 hours, 2 days, 2 weeks, it seems like a long time when you miss someone.

-Claire is already talking about their next time together.-Ok, I have to ask. Were you joking about Claire talking about their next time together, or what? Because all I see is Claire suggesting to Elly that she (Elly) take a longer break from her family next time, since she’s going to feel guilty no matter what….

Hey Ellie next time you and Claire can run off together for 2 weeks. .And Ellie make sure Claire sees your night gown.

Why is it you men always want women to “get together”?I have never (could never) feel any attraction to another woman, and I am VERY sensual. I am so happy to have found a wonderful new man this year.
