Jason: Daylight savings time is so annoying. I mean, if they're gonna make us turn all our clocks ahead, they should at least have it be a time change worth the hassle. One hour is just so paltry. Why not move everyone's clocks ahead by 25 hours? Then today would be Monday and I'd be in the middle of a sweet, sweet math test. or 673 hours? Then it'd be April 6 and "Game of Thrones" would be resuming tonight. Or 3,103,101 hours? Then it'd be the year 2368 and I could sing Klingon opera in the shower without mom and dad freaking out like they did the other day. Peter: Dude, they thought you were dying. Jason: MEeee-looooooo-taaaaaaa...

Jason (in the second panel), Arizona nor Hawaii utilize DST. Live there if you think itās such a drag. (Iām not following the āmelotaā reference in the final panel.)

I prefer the gradual approach. Every night, I set my clocks ahead twenty seconds. After six months, Iām an hour ahead, and then I start setting them back twenty seconds a night until I get back where I started. Then I start the whole process again.

Mr. Amend, I hate to point out that nowadays Jason would be too young to remember any Star Trek tv series. Deep Space 9 (which was the one to mainly deal with Klingon Opera) was off the air five years before he was born. Heād be a Battlestar Gallactica fan now.

Isnāt Jason a little young for Game of Thrones? There are some seriously adult situations on that show.

Global Warming is a hoax. But even assuming itās true, I figure by 2368, weāāll be far beyond Star Trek. Weāve figured out better computer systems then theirs, weāve got better laser beams then them, weāve started to teleport individual atoms, and weāve figured out a (theoretical) way to pass light speed. Iām very excited to see what comes next in my generation.

DST is just more Bureaucratic Manipulation.

Agreed vwdualnomand. Especially in spring and fall. It makes us use the lights longer in the morning instead of at night. I guess congress got bored years ago and wanted to act like they were doing something, by moving the pain-in-the-bee-hind time change to early March. Weāll soon be on DST all the time.

Sounds like Jason has hacked the V-Chip on their TV.
