If she’s already going to attent MU, she’s already been accepted, so Phelps’ talking about her grades makes no actual sense and only serves to highlight Tiffany’s shortcomings. Another day in Evansville.

Okay, Tiffany got in due to her father’s money. There are two things that could be a “serious problem.” Her grades could be so low that she can only graduate by taking several summer school courses. She could be only eligible for remedial courses and Moony doesn’t offer any.

Not gonna happen, Tiff, and unless your grades improve, you aren’t going to college at all, no matter HOW much money your dad has.

Paris Hilton didn’t go to college…..she dropped out of high school….wonder if Sheraton St. Louis will do the same. :’)

being accepted into college is usually contingent on being graduated from high school. Miz Phelps is doing her job. Tiffany may not have done HERS.

For a moment, I had wondered if she saw that, too… combined with the reason that she was even there in the GC’s office, in the first place…. could be just a routine thing, but I still wonder…. – Though I’m sure that once “Daddy Morbucks’” money is set in motion, it’ s no stopping it. Unless Phelps is about to become some “whistleblower” and all… but Tiffany wasn’t too concerned with going there to begin with, anyway…

But if she FAILS high school she can’t get into college no matter how much money her daddy gives to the school. THAT is the problem.

Tiffany wouldn’t look hot if she was on fire. Truly one of the “ugliest” characters in the comic world.

I thought you were picking on Bernice again for not straightening Luann out over all the years of friendship.Shouldn’t be since you pointed out the comic strip in which Luann repeated some advice Bernice had given her over and over but which she didn’t listen to when coming from a friend but at least considered when coming from a professional, someone else.

I love today’s strip! Tiffany is hilarious as the ultimate airhead. I can just imagine her with a “Valley girl” accent.

Maybe that’s the key, here- next week, or later, we find Tiffany, in need of a subject over the summer, getting tutored in a subject…. by Luann !….. – After the mini blow up in the after school care program, the stage could be set for some more between the two of them…

More likely… but less drama… – For that one, it’d be just the battle of “brains” vs. “beauty”… funny, yes… but it can be a bit clichéd to see Gunther have to smack his own forehead at the things that Tiff will say next in the sessions….

Even better!… Well, not better , per se, but story wise…..That would make for different possibilities for gaining some aspect of Tiffany’s psyche… and maybe “preserve” the dealings she has with Luann… maybe…

If they can cram “Drama Camp” in just a week, and the after school gig in a couple of weeks here and there, in between 4th of July and Labor day, it can be done…. – But again, we don’t know in what subjects Luann does better than Tiffany at. In this strip, it has been shown that as Luann worked at the Library, that when they exchanged words there,Tiffany’s “witticisms” were rather limited where they don’t involve “social” aspects (social as in peer group, not anthro….)…

There are doctors who are trusted with a scalpel and the ability to prescribe chemicals and treatments, yet cannot operate a fax machine or copier (I know this from work experience!)…. there are Bus Drivers who have the “simple” job of transporting people, yet have qualified to be on Jeopardy (or at least scored high enough in the audition tests to be considered…..

Dreams change.I have several a night.(You were in … never mind, just joking.)A cousin of mine wanted to be a veterinarian until he realized he’d have to deal with family pet cats and just wasn’t up to it.He switched to computer genius somethingorother in the Air Force, away from unhappy cats..Bernice doesn’t have to return to a former dream or stick with the current one.

By the way, just because Bernice doesn’t think Miz Phelps does a good job,doesn’t mean she considers the job unimportant.

So, it looks like Tiff has already set her sights on being in MU’s Cheer Squad…will Daddy have to pay for that, too? He already seems to be good at bribing the university to get what he wants for his poor dear, dear daughter. Oh, BTW, will Tiff have learned her lesson from her Pitts’ Cheer Squad scandal?! ;)

To be fair we are not privy to Tiffani’s grades, she could be a B student, but P Helps (gag) is a grade snob.
