Who wants a Jay that looks like Andy Dick? Definitely not me. Love the sedan chair, too. …I’d like to see a happy Rita, and then she’s wake up from her nightmare in the last day of the sequence… Sort of like ‘Dallas’ where the whole previous season was just a dream.
Andre Noel’s characters had different outfits for different days; just like real people. Kyle Miller gave them fixed costumes. He put Dana in the yellow top and black skirt, and I just kept it like that. I also picked up Jay’s brown blazer and blue shirt with black strip from Kyle.

“Tough their nose with their tongue”?
…who acts out the gags that don’t fit into Working Daze…Didn’t I say that earlier?

I’m glad this chapter had an example of the photo-background technique.

I love Rita’s sedan chair in the third strip! Nicely imaginative, and so demonstrative of Rita’s casual sadistic streak.

A wonderful retrospective, which when collected in a single volume will be a treasured holiday gift for years to come :-)

Try to say “touch” with your tongue out. “Tough” is aboiut right. I figgered he said it while demonstrating it.

The Batman/Bruce Wayne Conundrum: Why hasn’t anyone ever seen Andy Dick and Bill Gates at the same time.

And as I quote from Walter Cronkite, and that’s the way it is for Working Daze.

That wraps the history, ladies and gents. Next week our regular programming returns.

Is that Dana in the first panel? If so, Jay, Roy and all the others wouldn’t be getting any work done when she walked by.

Yep the history is history.
