From the way I see it, there are three possibilities. One: Paige realizes she has just lost her source of power and her “good life” is officially over. Two: she experiences a conscience for once (though that’s probably the least likely). And three (and the one I’m willing to place my money on): it hits her that the Backsync Boys don’t really acknowledge her as their #1 fan after all.

Yup, skydancer11, I vote for #3. Not knowing the thread, I think she realizes that her original poster was probably autographed en masse and distributed. (I forget how she got hers, though, and I don’t feel like going back to remind myself.)

I agree with Joshua. Paige is upset because she lost her slave. (See yesterday’s strip where she’s describing the situation to a friend and telling her there’s “no end in sight”.)
