We used to have a “typical” cat – totally ignored you unless you happened to have a lap she needed. The EMTs had to come once to pull me out of a coma, and I’m told that cat sat on the back of the sofa, inspected all of the equipment, and then had to be locked in the kitchen, where she put her paws under the door and rattled it violently.
I’ve had cats and dogs, and when they seem concerned about me for whatever reason, I hope it’s because they care about ME, but then I have to wonder if they are really worried their food source is threatened.
My cat loves to make time for me. She’s always by my motorbike to see me off to work, and she’s always there to greet me home.As soon as I get off the bike, she likes to sit on my seat. After I wrap up the bike for the night (if the weather is good), she’ll go back on the bike. The seat area serves like a hammock. It’s her favourite bed.
