Hey John what’s up are you a king.com shareholder?
Two years before Candy Crush there was an app for a game called Candy Swipe. It was developed by a small independent developer who taught himself code and developed the game in memory of his mother. (see the link at bottom of comment) Basically King stole the whole design for Candy Crush from Candy Swipe.
King has been trying to copyright the name “Candy” but this hasn’t went thru yet. In the mean time they pulled some fast deals to buy up an old defunct company that used the name Candy Crusher way back in 2004. So now they can say they had the rights to the name before Candy Swipe and can therefore negate Candy Swipe’s Trademark and totally get away with literally stealing an independent developers game from him. It is absolutely disgusting!
It seems as though you are better at Candy Crush than at life. Choosing the right match in real life can be tricky… I chose poorly, like the guy in ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.’ I’m not dead, though, so it wasn’t quite that bad… lol ;-)
I actually hate the way they try to get you to bother your friends and to buy power ups and such. I don’t mind buying extra levels as the game progresses I mean it is a business but the other parts can be a pain. But just because I am bugged by something doesn’t mean my characters are. :)
First there was the Glove and Boots video about how and why the game was evil. If you haven’t seen it, you really should.
Then there’s all this copyright nonsense. I will never do business with a company that attacks other developers over such pettiness as having a similar name. It’s childish and likely to ruin them in the long run.
I got stuck on a timed level. Those are my least favorite. It’s become rare now I go into the game, because it got too frustrating on that level. And I get tired of Honey Boo Boo popping up to cry every time a level fails.
Try Compulsive – After several plays it allows you to remove the ads and, so far, doesn’t freeze anymore. It is a puzzle and Tetris type game. Very addictive.

Okay, this problem again. I’ll try to find out why they’re running the wrong version.

I was determined to get to level 200 for some strange reason. I did and now I am done. I might try it when I need a mindless break but that is it.

I’ve never played candy crush, and I never will.
