Because, once we start paying a share, even with the stipend, it will be much less expensive than splitting the cost of the uninsured between higher taxes and higher premiums for responsible people..Of course, the libertarians would RATHER pay more for the poor and for freeloaders, mostly because they are the freeloaders.

There is no such thing as “free or low cost” healthcare. It comes from taxes that we all pay. And those that want the universities to be free, that would also come from taxes as well. Higher taxes.

It seems Mr. Stantis has a low opinion of humanity – he thinks that we’re all just looking for a reason to not work. I wonder what happened to make him think that people are so worthless.

By the way Ionizer, how do YOU use your EBT card to purchase anything but groceries. I don’t know of anyone else that can.

Nowadays ‘free’ means someone else is forced to pay. The only proper use of government force is by the police, military, and courts. All else is a violation of rights.

I know. Comes under the heading of “Those who can do; those who can’t, test.”
