I used to have cats – the Snood brothers Chester and Gabriel, who would appear in any cabinet at any time – once they got in my dish cabinet and began throwing out the dishes….I loved them just the same.
I forget whether it was the TV movie version of John Jakes’ “The Rebels” or another movie about Valley Forge in which Lafayette served visiting Congressmen “chat roti” – a cat was all he had available to roast.
